My Supercross Race

Jordan Supercross Race 6-26-09

Just had another supercross race last night…. It was an absolutely perfect night. The weather was warm and sunny, the track conditions couldn’t have been better. Plus, my class had the most entries. There were about 24 or 25 riders, which is a lot for a supercross track. I was riding my ’01 yz125. The first moto I pulled a pretty good start against almost a full gate of 250f’s. I ended up about 5th or 6th out of the first turn. The whoop section was next, and I have not conquered the whoops yet, so I got passed by about 5-6 riders right away. I was doing pretty well until about the third lap where there was a 180 degree turn where there was big roller just before it. Well what I didn’t notice was that there was a rider down right after the roller. I didn’t see him until I rode over his bike and fell over. I finally remounted and got going again after another 5 riders passed me, but what makes me even more upset is that there was no flagger there to wave it off. But oh well, it’s racing. I ended up getting about 19th. When the main event came I had a really bad gate because I was almost the last to choose. I ended up about 15th after the first turn. Once that mess was over I cruised, and cruised fast. I passed one or two riders and ended up about mid-pack I think, didn’t get a chance to see the results. Over all the race was great, and I had a lot of fun. Not to mention I didn’t get hurt!! My next race will be in about two weeks, so I’ll be ready of that. Thanks for reading, and I hope to post more soon!

Corcoran Supercross

Corcoran Supercross Race 5-22-09

This was the last race of the Spring series at West Metro Motorsports in Corcoran, MN. Good little supercross track to warm up for the summer. I didn’t really get the best of starts, but I ran good, clean races. I know I should have passed the rider on the Kawasaki, but I just didn’t want to risk it with my tire that was harder than a rock. Even on the straight sections it was slipping out from under me. Watch the video to see my results. It may not be the most exciting motocross race to watch, but at least you can see everything. I am a better rider by now and would race here again this fall, but the track owner decided to cancel the series because of lack of rider attendance. Thanks for viewing! I’ll have more blogs to come.

125 C Class Motocross Race at ERX Motor Park

First time out at ERX Motor Park

This was my first ride at the motocross track in Elk River, MN. It was June 13th. I raced in the 125 C class on my yz125 #316. It was a really fun track and pretty long for where it was located. The track was simple and flowed very well; great track for beginning racers, and difficult enough obstacles for intermediates. I am slowly getting better and faster, so at least I was jumping stuff. Thanks for viewing, and enjoy the video!

ERX Motor Park MX Race

Motocross Practice Track

Hey guys, just wanted to give an update on my racing/riding life. A few days ago I went with a friend to his friends’ house and rode there for the second time. It was an all sand track, so it was a bit difficult for me at first to jump everything. It was in their yard, so there wasn’t a whole lot of room to get up to speed. There was a real nice whoop section, a fast and sick woods section that winded around the house, then you go back and do a few more whoops with a double-table-top after that. To finish it off was the most fun section that was a pretty long stretch with three decent size doubles. Overall, I had a lot of fun once I started jumping and doing all of the obstacles. It was great practice and will definitely help me in the future. I might be heading out there again tomorrow, so I might give another update for that if anything interesting or funny happens. I also have a supercross race coming up next Friday that I hope to go to. I will for sure post info about that, so don’t forgot to come back every week or so and check out my profile. Thanks for viewing!!

Dirt Bike Racing – Jordan Supercross

This was my first race at the Jordan Supercross

track promoted my Motokazie. It was at the Scott County Fairgrounds in Jordan, MN. I raced in 125 C class and ended up finishing 13th out of 20. There was one kid in my class that had a really bad accident and was down on the ground from the first lap until the end of my race…… Did not look too good.
